There aren't too many people I could trust to politicize Halloween, from the candy angle no less. Do you even play subsims SUBMAN? I can't imagine how you find the time.

:nope:
Subman is so far to the Right that I can't even see him from where I'm sitting way over here on the Left. :D
I'm beginning to wonder if his last name happens to be Limbaugh. :D

PDJust waiting for the next subsim, but yes, played them all till I was bored. If you bothered to check some of the files, I did some audio for SH4 even. But then again, if you spent some time playing subsims yourself, you might actually know that! :p

I guess I can feel you on that. I never was really into the WWII ones. I bought them, as I buy all half serious sims that I have some interest in and my computer is capable of running. For naval sims it's DW and Distant Guns (I know, not sub) for me right now. Can't wait for ComSubSim, though.
(SHAMELESS PLUG) But when I am not on or under the water, I have absolutely fallen in love with this sim recently:

I want a new Dangerous Waters. One that preferably concentrates on surface combat as much as undersea combat. That would be my wish!
That Shuttle Sim look pretty dang cool. Is it as complicated as the first Shuttle Sim? I think it was released by Virgin way back when, but it was an accurate sim of the exact procedures to launch. You had to flip every switch at the right time.

If you want a rock hard shuttle sim. Get orbiter and you can fly many different ships, oh and although you might not have to press every button getting into orbit is not easy...well getting there is, staying there is a different thing.

Hopefully there will be an addon/improvement to DW, but I don't think Sonalysts will do too much to update the game engine and fix the basic problems with it.
That shuttle sim, as any shuttle sim should be, is filled with buttons. They are only clickable in the 2D pit, but damn are there a lot of buttons! Funny you mention the Virgin one, it was actually made by a group of guys who were diehard fans of the Virgin sim. And while orbiter is great for what it is (FREE!), it is not JUST a Shuttle Sim. I think SSM is a better sim for JUST focusing on shuttle operations. It is very, very complete when it comes to the shuttle. SSM 2007 is probably easier than Orbiter though because it models all the various autopilot modes of the Shuttle. I'll put up an AAR of a Shuttle Sim mission in the other games forum soon to give y'all an idea of how it plays.

One of the few things that Subman and I agree on. :D
Orbiter is WELL worth the download. If you want to know what addons to get or where to get them, feel free to PM me.
If you want to fly a shuttle and actually hit every button, there's a really great shuttle sim called "Space Shuttle Mission 2007" I played with the beta version and it was fantastic. You have to pay for it though ($49.95) but it's the most accurate space shuttle sim that you'll ever get your hands on. Years of work went into this one using input from real shuttle manuals and plans ( I know this because I followed and playtested each version as it came out and it was several years that I did this). I applaud the guys who wrote it.

Do not confuse Euro-Nazis and nationalistic *****s reloaded from yesteryear with those people in America who want to retain the US as the country that put an end to the Nazis in the first place. Instead of it becoming another semi-socialist sh!thole like most of Europe is where you pay almost half your money into various state pockets AND have to go for private insurance to ensure a pension plan you can (hopefully) half decently live with in 30+ years.
The fact that you confuse US Republicans with radical right wing parties in EU member states shows how limited your understanding on the nature of either is and how well the EU media and public school system disinformation about US policy and the US in general is working.
BTW, why don't the lefties like the cartoon? After all, it is fake, but accurate. ;)
Addendum: It is sometimes difficult to decide who on the "far right" in Europe are Nazis and who aren't. In fact, most of them indeed are (when you make background checks on their key players, notice their anti-individual and still anti-free market attitudes as well as racist bigotry etc), but you can easily get the "far right" label for simply not being in lock-step with EU political correctness. The fact that the media landscape and information policy by the various governments of the member states is mostly left-leaning - from a US perspective easily socialist - guarantees that anyone openly promoting a "pro life" approach on abortion, makes references to the Christian religion, considers adding even more Mosques to European capitals debate-worthy, and would prefer not rendering the country's legislation to the bureaucracy of Bruxelles etc, is quickly and without much public debate branded a "Neo-Nazi", or "Far Right", which means the same thing in European political debates (and maybe that is the problem).
A Nazi is someone who wants to take power and freedom away from the people and give it to the state, since he thinks this will bring salvation, instead of the country benefitting from a society where people pursue happiness in freedom. He is basically a control freak. They didn't call themselves NationalSOCIALISTS for nothing. Probably the only thing they didn't lie about. People shouldn't just worry about those 2-3% of the vote parties, where someone has an issue with abortion, while the left is busy with disassembling their freedom and surrendering legislative power to EU bureaucrats no one did really vote for.
That's pretty much how I see it Heartc. Good post.
