You won't get any lambasting from me. Fatty wiped the floor with me last game, so I'll just offer some friendly encouragement. ;) :D

This is, hands-down, the greatest thread title I've seen.
This is, hands-down, the greatest thread title I've seen.
It's certainly apt for a heavy weight championship in chess, or is it wrestling? :)
cheers Porphy

Tchock, do you reckon baggy & fatty might've had a better ring to it?? Must admit, I put fatty up front because he'll be wiping the floor with me... Meh, either combo is just bloody awesome isnt it!!
I'd hope it isnt wrestling porphy, i'd be in all sorts of trouble mate! I'll have to try and link a pic of me some time, I havent got one in the profile thread yet. Then you'll see why i hops its not wrestling!!:rotfl:

Unfortunately I'm opting for the latter, this next move needs to be looked at carefully.:know:
That would be prominent officials in the fatty administration admitting that we are involved in an unwinnable war in d5 :)

I don't know about fatty, but I was tearing my hair out bored at work, so I was sitting there trying to predict his next moves, etc. Most effort I put into any game!
Then I got caught up in my own plans, neglected my flank a little too much while building up for an attack, and ouch, there goes my knight and rook.
god fun though, I haven't played a real person in more than 10 years!
Where has my baggy gone

Its not really a case of starting early, its more a case of time - i have no weekends for 7 months of the year now, and we don't wanna leave it too late!

Oh, I thought Fatty would take care of it. I followed the match on my mind-board only and did not log the match anymore when he posted his first diagram.
If he fails in his next move to provide a diagram, I'll log it in again, but for the moment I am lazy.
Give me about two hours to get home and I will throw up a new pic (properly oriented this time!)

SM-chess! I always felt there is a deeper, mutually depending relation between two chess players. C'mon - two adult people sitting like frozen at a table for five hours and not saying a single word...!?
