Ahhh yes! San Fran-sicko, used to be my home town. Used to be a nice place, a long time ago. Well you see if the McCain supporters would have marched wearing thongs or nothing at all and were perfroming public sex acts then they would be embraced by these vermin. John McCain just does not get it...

My first thought is that I was very glad to see that there was no violence. In most Countries there would have been.
My second though was that when you design an education system to protect Government, and therefore educate students to a level where they believe that Government is there to wipe their ass every time they screw up, then when you confront those students as adults with any level of accountability, there will always be an obvious response.....usually involving one finger. :D
I wonder how many of them actually realize that they live in a Republic and not a Democracy......or maybe teaching them that would have confused the mesage. :D

While I agree with Mikhayl regarding the captions, I have to disagree with the no sympathy part. Anyone can be an idiot with the captions, but look how many idiots in that crowd are exemplifying the exact same sentiment. I spent most of my time watching the real evidence (the video), not reading the captions (which we all knew were going to be pro-Republican).
Can't blame Barry O for these folks actions, though. I wonder how many of the folks that were enraged by the McCain crowds will find some way to make these people's actions acceptable?:hmm:

I would not Blame Obama either. There are plenty of ways to demostrate without being gutter snipes. It would not matter in that city. If the boy scouts of America were marching, they would get the same treatment.

As the brothers would say "nigga please". You know as well as I do that if I packed up a bunch of Obama people and marched them thru a place like Vider Texas or Knoxville TN you would see the same if you were lucky, but most likely you would have had to call out riot police.
Besides, if you could ever afford to live in the North you would know that is nicer than the people act in rush hour traffic.

Well, no. They would be put in a fenced area about 100 yards away as it was done at the DNC. I guess it is just easier to cage those big bad animals.

I don't recall RNC protesters getting box seats on the convention floor.

No, but they had front row seats around the building not to mention I did not see a fenced off area to keep the protesters at bay. I found the fencing at the DNC very odd. Didn't you? The media certainly down-played the protesters at the DNC. So, tell me, why fencing at the DNC and not the RNC?

But it seems Obama is doing well in the southern states. Frisco and Berkely are social anomalies. Been that way since the sixties...By the way, I am a brother....

Flamebroiled? Since you are a conservative you won't get a nastygram from a mod for the ad hominem against me I wager.
I was accused of making a personal attack for making fun of Rockin Robbins for saying we were going to get nuked. He, actually did say that more than once. I got a private message to stop trolling after I called him on the repeated "we get nuked if Obama wins" stuff.

It almost hurts to do this but you leave me no choice. Here let me remind you about pier 57 in New York used to house the RNC protesters in 2004.

If you denounce the link as biased just check google. No one is disputing the treatment of the protesters at the pier.

Trust me, I don't like the brown shirts putting anyone in cages anywhere regardless of party affiliation or convention. I don't disagree with that. It's the leaders of thesees cities that are scared to death of their city looking like the LA riots. That's far fetched but it's their concern.
The hosts of these conventions really only care about the money it brings in. The mayors want to whore out the city and keep people who still think this is a democracy left or right at bay.

Funny you use 'whore' because that line of work does very well at these conventions.

Dude, whether I get a nastygram or not will have nothing to do with my political viewpoints, it will have to do with my actions. Making light of your nick is not the same as what you did with the thread that got you the nastygram. But if messing with you by messing with your nick is considered in bad taste and I get a nastygram, then I'll abide by it and do everything I can to refrain from doing it again. What you don't seem to get is that your views are not what cause you problems, it's your actions.

I've just seen it more than once. You probably didn't notice it. We would film our debates in class and critigue body language and nuances the people themselves didn't know they did.

Because you say you've seen it doesn't make it so. It's really not important but does bring something to my attention that you probably don't realize about yourself. I asked you for an example, you give me rhetoric. It's a recurring theme. What you did in debate class is the same thing we did in debate class, but talking to you isn't a debate, it's more like a comedy that isn't funny.

No, you don't think it's funny at all do you? The walls are caving in on the republican party and I am just another example. Here in the safetly of right wing military sim world here is a military veteran gone liberal right on my doorstep!

Can someone explain this vid to me? I tried to watch it, but I'm so far to the right that they all look like communists from here:p ;) .
I agree with Mikhayl a bit, though. This video, like many others, is not objective. I may not like the Dems philosophies, but they're certainly not just a bunch of finger-waving idiots. Even the margin parties could easily be made to look like fools by the conduct of some of their members. My own party has its' share of nutcases who take an extremely conservative viewpoint to levels so extreme that we could be made to look like communists. Hardcore feminists come to mind.
All I can say, as humbly as possible, is that one might want to consider why this video is under discussion in the first place. Would time not be better spent looking for objective evidence that is gleaned from multiple sources as to how well party platforms and policies have performed in the past?
Just my thoughts......

I'll explain it easily. A bunch of right wingers took a camera to the middle of liberal land knowing a McCain/Palin sign would draw jeers. Simple enough. They then post is and say "look, liberals are MEAN".
You would get the same effect if you loaded up a bunch of Obama people and drove them into some redneck town in Texas, you would gets jeers and the same response, or worse.

I burst out laughing and turned off the video when it got to the "area intellectuals boo and jeer them as well... just as they've been taught to do". Ohhh brother, not this again :damn:
The event and the reactions are interesting. The rhetoric in the titles is twice as brainless and vapid as the reactions of the "intellectuals" on the street. The marchers I'm fine with, they exercised their right, and they stood for their position quietly and correctly avoiding response to the insults. Except for the one that made the video, of course.

The right is really used to having to hold people's hands and spell things out letter by letter in case you didn't get it. Trust me, I went thru the southern school system, I know all too well how they do this. Subtlety is lost on them.

The McCain supprorters must be allowed to show their political views, and the Non-McCain supporters must be allowed to show what they think too. I don't think any laws were breaken during that march? And I'm sure that it'd be exactly the same if Obama Supporters marched in a Republican neighbourhood.
In response to the original question, my thoughts; I notice that democrats lack good manners whereas republicans seem to react rather well to provocation. I also note from the titles that 'intellectual' and 'taught' are pejorative terms in the republican dictionary.
