The Hatch Act in regards to the what happened:
Covered state and local employees may not-
be candidates for public office in a partisan election
use official authority or influence to interfere with or affect the results of an election or nomination
directly or indirectly coerce contributions from subordinates in support of a political party or candidate
That is a big stretch....

So if that happens will we see your continued support or will you vanish into the woodwork when he has to actually live up the promises he's making?

How about this to break it up a bit.

The media and America will turn on him like rabid dogs. They always do. It will take less than a week for this to happen. But, Obama has an out, he can just point back to Bush. This is how it works in politics. As far as McCain, the public already thinks he is an A-hole. So he is used to it. Enjoy the show because the second coming certainly is not Obama and it definitely is not McCain. We be screwed boys.

Wait what? You mean Faux News won't still be the cheerleader for the whitehouse it has been for the last 8 years?:p
Obama promies? What promises? Hell I couldn't name one, and I don't care. He isn't a republican, that's all I need to know. I don't care if he mopped at the senate his whole career. That's how bad republicans have run thing into the ground.

Republicans have proven that it doesn't matter if you believe all the right things (and they do not) if you have no ability to lead and you are unprincipled enough to believe that the highest and best use of the congressional budget is to buy votes. Republicans were instant in abandoning all the responsible positions that got them elected, quick to destroy everyone who knew how to get things done and twice as adept at wasting money frivolously as the Democrats they replaced. They deserve what is happening to them. We, on the other hand, do not.
Republicans are only effective as an opposition party. They show no skill to lead. They are devoid of character. I think the 30 and younger Republican crowd is going to have to take control before we see the party again stand for and execute the conservative principles that would win this and any other presidential election. Universities now are full of young Republicans we can admire and look forward to. They have moral character, energy and great ideas.

Oh yeh of short memory...Bushs first 6 years were just dandy. The past two years we have experienced a democratically controlled Congress. Sorry Flaming, everyone on Capitol Hill had their hand in it. If everything was just great, all would be patting themselves on the back. Do you really think the war would have gone differently if a democrate was in the White House? Wall Street would be just the same as it is today. Really, read up on how this started with subprime lending during the Clinton Administration. See the light Flaming, we are screwed no matter who ends up in the hot seat. McCain is not the answer, Obama is not the answer. As far as promises, sure you can not name one. Nor can you name any proposals. We can name were the the next telepromotor will be for Obama. No one will be singing Obama praise nor McCain praise in the next 4 years.
BTW, Fox news really is not cheerleading for anyone. Democrates in the Congress are just easy targets. :p

No that job will be taken over by CNN, CBS, NBC and ABC. Oh, and you.

You know, the way I'm looking at it is like this:
On one end of the spectrum, you had someone pushing to get unqualified people loans they couldn't actually afford.
On the other end of the spectrum, you had someone pushing to deregulate banks so they could play stockmarket guys and just generally get rid of those pesky controls in place to keep things from melting down.
So:
One group is removing the control rods FROM the reactor.
One group is shoving in more fuel rods INTO the reactor.
Congratulations: The reactor just reached it's full potential. Why? Because it could. That full potential is that it melted down, causing a big mess. It melted down because you've got two extremes trying to control things, and no one is paying attention to the little red light on the dashboard that says "DANGER". Of course, now everyone is pointing to both sides of the spectrum, saying it's "their" fault" the reactor melted.
My personal opinion is that both houses need to be cleared out and start fresh.
Just my 2¢
