I already have the original as well, it's pretty damn fun. The second one gave you a lot more features (splitting into four groups, entering buildings, etc.), but there were some issues with it that didn't quite make it the game it could have been.

Good free game to get. Yeah i played it through twice took me a while to get use to the gameplay style but once you have its a good game.

Well yes it is a good game.
But it doesnt have any long time motivation. If you have played through the campaign there is not much more you can do with this game.
And the cover system is a bit weird; you can only kill someone if you are at least in a flanking position. There is no way one can hit an enemy which is hiding behind a tiny rock which is covering the legs at most...

That's one of the things they fixed in the second game. You can use your team leader or rifleman (the guy without the SAW or grenade launcher) to pick off guys that come out of cover to shoot at you, but the trade-off is that you have to come out of cover for as long as you need to take the shot, so you usually have to have at least one other fireteam to distract your target, and it's nigh impossible to pull off if more than one guy is shooting at you. Very useful for if you're in a hurry and don't want to spend time trying to flank the guy though.
