Evening fellas, long time no see.
I'll be on TS tonight around 20.00 GMT onwards and ready to fly if anyone's interested. I was thinking of starting a Pacific DCG campaign tonight, possibly JastaV's Marianas campaign. It's good, quite short and has decent flight distances to target. We would be flying Corsair Cs, SBDs or Hellcats. Another option would be the "Double Nickel" P-38 ETO campaign, which is good for four or less players.
If anyone has any other good ideas I'm all ears

Sounds o.k. although I don't like the navy stuff too much.
I'm on TS right now.

We flew four sorties with Kratos and Schröder, and apart from a few ****ed up landings and one rocket Zero(Schröder can explain more) everything went pretty smoothly
The air war is going our way and our forces have now landed on Saipan and gained a bridgehead there.

Well if you are going to be around tonight let me know.
what skins should I get?
also are we flying modded IL-2 or not. If we are is it the full AAA unified installer mod?

I'll be around tonight. It's the Marianas 44 campaign we're flying(F6F-3 Late, F6F-5, SBD-5, possibly F4U1-C and D, FM-2), so get any skins you think are appropriate. I try to stick to the historical ones, but Schröder actually flew with an orange training aircraft skin yesterday
We're flying 4.08m(or if everyone manages to get 4.09b1m I have no problems changing to that), mods are up to you. The campaign doesn't include any modded aircraft so it doesn't really matter. I was the host and I'm running a load of mods which didn't bring any trouble to the other guys, so you should be fine with the Unified Installer.

Good question. When I wrote this it was 7:50pm in Gemrmany. We usually start at 10-10:30pm.
*Edit*
If your time is the one the subsim forums are using then it would be at 2pm.

Is that in 0, 1 or 2 hours and 6 minutes from now? (Or rather, the time we usually start at with Hunter running the show?)
I can never figure out that silly time system you humans invented...

Yes sir, 2 friendly ships lost for no significant losses to the enemy (Well...okay, we did shoot down some Betties, but we lost an almost equal number of Corsairs and Hellcats)

OOh "some betties"
We shot down a few squadrons worth of those, not to mention all the Zeros and Rufes  In the last mission alone, when only Raptor was present, I shot down seven Betties, of which the AI "stole" one before it hit the sea. Approaching them FAST from high 4-5 or 7-8 o'clock seems to work quite well: It gives you plenty of time to fire, at least with the Corsair, and limits your exposure to the tail 20 mm. I didn't even ram any!
The CVE ramming a Cruiser was quite funny though. Did anyone get a screenie?
The map we're using is the stock IL2 Marianas map, and we are flying JastaV's Marianas44 campaign with DCG. I won't be there tonigh btw, I'll be flying with II./JG53
