I need some help, cause it seems not to work...
yesterday i was trying to play a LAN with Hamachi and a friend.
Both same version of the game, both same version of Hamachi, i hosted and he wasn't abel to see my server, the same result as he hosted..
any suggestion?

Did you both have "green lights" on your Hamachi connections? Yellow/Red/Grey means there is some connection problem of some description. (And, there is the obvious... you were on the same Hamachi virtual netowrk, weren't you?)

Did you start the LAN game after connecting Hamachi?

Are you on 64-bit or 32-bit machines?

Do you have any other software that is working over that Hamachi link (e.g. RO, IL-2, etc.)?

Hamachi certainly can be used for SH3 (I've used it in the past... a looooong time ago now)..

All the same S.O. etc. green lights of course.
tryed and succesfully used hamachi to play rome total war and other stuff.
It gives problems only with silent hunter 3 & 4.
some weird settings to care of?

You might want to try the hamachi trick for RTW:
1) Open Hamachi
2) Disable your internet connection (while leaving hamachi running)
3) Enter the game
4) Enable your internet connection
5) Login into hamachi if you don't have autologin enabled

Also try:
Network connection > Advanced > Advanced Settings > Move Hamachi to the top most connection

(may need to restart hamachi / connection)

Hope you get it working! I know I prefer Hamachi to Direct TCP/IP espicially for older games such as AoEII which I sometimes play MP. Note it may be an Ubi thing as I couldnt get Lock On working with Hamachi...
