He's really 27. I though he was dead when I accidentally dropped him when we got home back when he was born... he obviously survived by licking the bacteria from the basement floor then on one day he came up when I was having my breakfast. ******* cereals were coming from every hole in my body when I saw him waving at me from the kitchen door with his usualy stupid look on his face. Anyways, this marks the 3rd birthday of reborn Bernard... :-?

(Was unwanted child anyways.. why you think I enlisted him to the WWII's Ubootwaffe other than to get rid of the fecka?! :p)

You lack the skills of speaking finnish, mission failed.

To translate what you just said in finnish:

"You funny in drunken fretti"

Instead of putting word "te" you should have put "Olette" (You are)
Now add a dot after the word "humalassa" (drunken) and there you go, its perfect.

"Olette hassu humalassa, fretti"

Althought I don't know anyone called "Fretti"

Surface at nearest American port at dusk and put Bernard into a dingy with the following items 1 regulation birthday cake, 3 regulation candles, 1 bottle of Becks. Mikään ei ole hauskempaa kuin ulkomaalaisten hämmentäminen ;) I agree, it's fun. That's why we should all start speaking in our own languages.

Lijep pozdrav!

I don't. My joke at you was based on an old Three Stooges skit:

Yes, I'm familiar with that language, and I would probably speak it more often if I don't use the spell checker.

Speaking of the language, I have a question for the English speaking people: how does the posts from us whose native language is not English, look to you? Can you immidietely recognize a "foreigner"?
Do you sometimes find our sentences funny?

Quite often, unless it's severely broken English, I don't usually notice anything funny. Heck, one time I saw a guy on a forum who's English was so horrible that I was sure that English was his 7th langage or something crazy. He was from New York. :P

Taking your question as an example, it was only after reading your message three times that I noticed that you typed "how does the posts" rather than "how do the posts". :) Even that though, could simply be a typo from a native speaker. Being on the internet so long though, I often don't even notice major typos anymore!

I think us Brits are often amongst the laziest in the world when it comes to second languages.

I wouldn't blame it on the laziness, but rather on a historical fluke. If Naploeon didn't blew it at Waterloo, we would all speak fluent French. Including Brits.

I'm kidding, of course. The truth is that you do not need to speak a second language, and most of us do. Because English established itself as an "unofficially official" language of the world, the one that doesn't speak it, is deprived from most sources of information, cannot communicate with people outside his ethnic group, etc.

Besides, how would one play SH3 if he/she doesn't speak English (or German or French)?
