Special edition features: 48 injection-molded crew figures in 6 poses; 4 metal type 95 torpedoes; transparent superstructure parts allowing view inside the hangar and 6 clear-molded Seiran aircraft. I won't ask the price. If I want it I'll pony up the price and eat soup and crackers for awhile. :rotfl:

That is bloody awesome! I wish it could be 1/72 like the Gato and Type VII kits. :lol:

Yep. On a Dollars-per-inch scale, it's much more expensive than the 1/72 scale Gato and U-boats.

Tamiya is the plastic gold standard, but you sure do pay the price for it!:huh:

Yes you do. For the most part, I've been really happy with their kits.
