below 48, using a ATI HD2600, 2 gig ram, AMD64FX, 22 "LCD. Think the low FPS is due to the processor.

Finally, a chance to brag! :rotfl:
What do you mean with average?
30-40 standing on bridge, looking around Pearl Harbour.
110-130 standing on bridge, looking around open sea.
750+ in main menu.
Normally locked to 70 with Vsync (CRT monitor).
I'd say (30+110)/2=70+fps average.

My fps all depend on what my computer feels like doing, (litteraly) On some days it flys at 50+ others 30+, Only reason I dont get more is because I use Vsync and it is locked at 60.

The old my fps can beat up your fps...and my fps is bigger than....
Brings back memories...:shifty: ...doesn't it? :-?
Philips 19" (still)
1250-ish in main screen :smug:
In port around 60+
Open Sea around 90+
Close to explosions around 60+
Bridge around 100+
This would be more informative if everyone was using the same standard. What does "average" mean? If people listed their computer specs it would help to define what it takes to really run this game and not have to think about the hardware end.
I get 80-90 FPS on the bridge,
140 FPS in the control room,
120 FPS in sonar and radar,
90-110 FPS external camera at sea (haven't checked it during an encounter with a convoy etc.)
25-35 or less in the single mission Midway battle scene with the external camera
over 100 (it varies) with time compression up to 2000-2500
If I go over around 4000 TC my computer gets weird (non responsive or very slow, mouse acting bizarre etc.) it gets worse the higher I go
10 FPS at max TC
If there is someone else with a computer similar to mine I would be interested in talking to you (MB, CPU and graphics card)
Computer specs:

What kind of system do ya got.:-?
Mobo: Gigabyte x48-dq6

RAM: 4gg Dominator 1066
GPU: Sapphire HD 4870x2

Weird thing when I start a game is I get 310/320fps at TS 2048 but after a savegame load I get 20 to 30FPS.
All other frame rates drop a bit aswell after a savegame loadbut not that much.
