This is what I have been waiting for as a replacement for my now very old TV (Maybe 8 years old???).

LCD and Plasma pretty much suck next to a CRT. Laser is the only thing that stands up to it. This is why I have not budged.

If it makes you feel any better, my stereo, though still not finished, is about double that.

WTF!! 14k on a stereo :oThat's nothing. I couldn't even buy one speaker of the type I really want for that amount of change. 1 really good speaker will run you $40K. Of course you need 2 minimum, and 4 would be ideal.

weve had the same TV for 16 years and it still works (32 inch Zenith). Dont think we will be getting one of these.:roll: Do ya want to trade Subman.

Don't you know that we in the UK live in a classless society....according to our government anyway :lol:

Personally, I think it's simply a case of your either one of those who have or one of those who have not ;)
