reload torpedos. I am on my 2nd patroll and still cannot reload the torpedos. I am using grey wolfs mod (older version) any idea how to fix this?

Make sure that you have crew in whichever torpedo room you're trying to rearm and that they are not too fatigued to operate. Also make sure that you're not on Silent Running. That will stop all reloading and damage control actions.

Thanks I checked all those and still can't reload. is ther a way to mod the boat to require less crew to reload torpedos? the default must be to high for a new crew to work.

is the "automatic-reload" option ticked? (if it's not, then tick it or drag & drop the torpedo on the tube).
if it is... I'm sorry but you are on you're own. :dead:

Everything is how it should be and still just says torpedo in queue for loading.
on my 3rd patrol and experience bar is up to 50% and still can't reload.:down:

Hit 2x "z" for silent running. Do the same with the checkmark for automatic reloading. It should fix it. U got typical symptoms of loading a saved game where the boat was submerged. If there would be insufficiant crew it would tell u by hoovering with the mousepointer over the torpedos ready to be loaded .

Or is that particular torpedo perhaps inside an external hatch and you are experiencing bad weather/waves? You'll have to wait for better weather if that's why the torpedo-crew is on strike..

type II dont have externals; are you on silent running?

There is a 'tweak' out there that doubles your internal torpedo loadout for a Type II and adds some externals, at the expense of tea and coffee making facilities for the crew.

Another one boosts the flak to a single C/30 37mm on the foredeck and two twin 20mm at the back. Great for the smaller ships you find in coastal waters.

Not historical I know but they turn the 'Canoe' into a vicious little beast! If anybody shows any interest I'll try to dig them out and post them back here.

You stated you are using an older GW version. depending on the version & when you had d/l'd it--there was a common problem back in 1.1a or somewhat that had the crew effeciency that needed tweaked. Later d/l versions of 1.1a had the fix implemented but you might have an early release. Might be your problem.
