this request has been mentioned many times but nobody who want's the mod has the skill or data to pull it off....

besides guppy was after the war and unless we had a cold war mod right now there would be no use...

You are right. However, I'm not into that kind of fantasy add-ons but could be interesting for some to have it added to the US campaign same as the Type XVIII was added to the german side. Engaging a japanese convoy in a Guppy.....sounds funny :hmm: (Though not for the japanese :D )

actually, IIRC the XXIII's did some damage by the end of the war...

and, being one of the devs for the CWM, we are intending on GUPPY's being added in the game...

That's correct the Type XXIII (23) did some damage in 1945, sinking two or three ships.

However I mentioned the Type XVIII (18), not the XXIII (23).

Guppy could be the counterpart of the XVIII in the allied side :hmm:
