Just goes to show you that you can lead a man (woman) to congress but you can't make them think. :nope:
Ha. Dumb thing to say.
However, if fellow party members can sink the ship for a presidential candidate, noone would even be considering McCain after the last 8 years of the worst Presidency in history.....
Administration officials are not the same thing as political party officials.

Good point, I misread the article, I thought this was a member of congress.
I have this habit of whenever I hear someone say something really really stupid I assume they are in congress.

That's an understandable reaction to be sure! :D

Same old ploy by any party. They will always try to convince the public that the opposing party candidate will be "more of the same..." They use this everytime. Congress has a lower approval rating than GW. Hmmmm! Funny how that happened. Did anyone hear McCain spank the republican party in his speech? He sure did. So, I do not think that McCain/Palin will be a continuation of the Bush administration by any stretch of the imagination.

Comical? Sure. But look at what happened to Leiberman with his party. Staunch republicans are leary of McCain because of his political position. His speech was the first one i have heard that the candidate chastised his party publicly. If you cannot credit him with that risky move then with political blinders are how you view things.
