it's 25 oct.1939 and i just rearmed and refueled at las palmas.i managed to sink 9 ships[7 brit and 2 french]for 36.689 tonnes all the way from east of england to bf16 to a spot 150 m.west of gibralter.but i was lucky the conditions were appalling high sea's,heavy rain and lost at least 4 ships because of conditions.so i have decided to journey to the carr.maybe conditions will, should be better.what area's are the most fruitfull at this time of the war?

U dont have enough fuel for that in a type II or VII unless u disable limited fuel in reality settings.

Plus a lot of Caribbean traffic (i.e., US traffic) will be neutral in 1939. The mouth of Gibraltar's a good choice at that point.

Take station 200/250 km west of Gibraltar http://img522.imageshack.us/img522/9708/piratebf4.gif (http://imageshack.us)
West of gibraltar, neat Cape Sao Vicente is a good hunting spot.
You have already burned too much fuel to make it to the Carib in any sub.

am currently using a type IXb and refueled and rearmed at the supply ship at las palmas in the canary island's.have arrived off of the venezuelan coast with more than enough fuel to make it back to las palmas.i will loiter for awhile then return to las palmas to refuel and return to base via gib.area,bf15/16 and the area north of ireland.i just hope the conditions have improved they were atrocious for almost 3 weeks.

Don't forget to take a plentiful supply of gramaphone tunes with you to while away the time whilst your waiting http://www.psionguild.org/forums/images/smilies/wolfsmilies/pirate.gif

i have returned to las palmas to refuel, took quite a bit even at one third speed.i felt like i had entered the twilight zone night was normal but daylight was like a anti-matter world, sea was bright and the sky was pitch black with a bright sun now i'm back on the otherside of the pond and every thing is back to normal.weird

It sounds like you've changed atmosphere mods whilst on patrol...corrupted scene.dat file.
You should try to reach New Orleans. Lots of large tankers overthere:cool:
