I know many don't like people with alot of money, but I am not trying to show off! I wanted a good gaming pc, so this is the one. I am only 15, and have average experience on this.

I went to the GameSpot forum and they told me these are some good sets, I should stay with DDR3 RAM and use HD 4870X2 2GB in crossfire. I would like to know your opinions about this! I also need a water cooling system, could you help?


Right now, I have Windows Vista 32-bit, and wonder if I should get the 64 bit or go XP..

Nice pc build, Although I might suggest 2 smaller hard drives in RAID-0. Say maybe 2 750Gb or something? Other than that, I am jealous as to how you got that much money at 15. I'm 14 and I'm getting a new pc myself but it is not as good as yours(although my GFX cards come pretty close).

They say that those are the best PC gaming specs..I was looking at a Vigor Colossus, they said it would kill the game cause it is so strong! http://www.vigorgaming.com/index.html So I am just getting what will play pretty much all games without a problem.

Those are good specs, and this will be my first Gaming PC, I have always used Dell so I am really tired of it. I plan to get one of them awesome and beautiful green water cooling system, so awesome!

Should I get Windows Vista or XP? Right now I have 32-bit and alot of compatibility issues with many games..and too much restriction on every d**** folder. XP has always been good for me when I had it. Now theres two tough choices, cause Vista improves the graphics a bit and has awesome backgrounds if you'd notice.

Unless you're a millionaire my only suggestion is not to spend that much money. I see no point in spending that much money on something that will be obsolete in 5 years. If you spend $3000 that's already a high end system that could run any game on the market. As you keep going higher, the speed obviously increases, but the value for the money decreases. Also, keep in mind that your interests might change and you might regret spending that kind of money.

Agree with Kraut. You don't need to be on the bleeding edge to get the most out of games. Just make sure your system is good enough for upgrades in the future and save the money, or buy me a new computer with the money you save!:D

If you are going to get 4gb of RAM, then you should get vista. XP was never meant to be a 64-bit OS. Vista however, Was designed to take advantage of more RAM so it wold be better if you you got a 64-bit edition of vista rather than XP.

Yo, thanks. I was planning to get 8 GB of RAM by buying from him twice, as that is probably the highest RAM a game would take and 6 GB is probably the biggest space a game will use. Even in the future, hopefully..yes I may regret but I regret getting Dell PC's for gaming as well, Windows Vista 32 bit is a pain in the ass already
