This article forgot the already fielded laser - a joint US Israeli system and is currently in use in Israel as the test bed.

Hahahahahaha! Sweet!

I especially liked that last article. Sounds like a LIPC (Laser-induced plasma channel) electrolaser. Lightning in a can. God Bless America.....

Of course, I have to ask the question that's on everyone's minds. If Boeing does sucessfully deploy conventional laser weapons, will we be able to mount them on sharks' heads?:D

You know, I have one simple request. And that is to have sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads! Now evidently my cycloptic colleague informs me that that cannot be done. Ah, would you remind me what I pay you people for, honestly? Throw me a bone here!

How the hell are you supposed to fire a laser attached to a sharks head underwater? Lesson number 1 - lenses affect light beam. Now what exactly do you think water is? :D

You guys crack me up! :rotfl:

He's right. We might have to go with plan B: Mutated sea bass.

Water proof lasers?
:rotfl:
Yes, the shark and the laser beam are contained in a bubble traveling at the speed of light squared while folding space-time into itself, resulting in a faster than the speed of light beam of light which goes nowhere, but mysteriously appears at it's target thus reducing it to pure energy and turning the shark into Hillary Clinton:hmm:

Would anyone care to clue me in as to what the reference "sharks with lasers" should point?
