Hello Captains, I having a slight deleima. Everytime I save a game and go back to it awhile later my sub is diving to the depths thus ending my career. This has happened to me twice already on two different careers. It seems to me that it also happening in the same general area aroung north west coast of England. Has anybody had the same problem and is there a way to fix this. I don't understand what is going on I save at about 25 meters but when load is complete its going down. Nothing work I've tried emergency surface, etc... Please help!

:damn:

ahhh the old uncontrollable dive problem

its a stock issue.

rule number one when it comes to SH3 is...

...everyone say it together now "Dont save your game if your submerged."

also consider the following

dont save the game if you are within 50 KM of land

dont save the game if you are within visual range of a ship

dont save the game if you are within 50 KM of any port

the only time you should ever save is while on the surface and near NOTHING but open water.

i enourage you to review page 12 of the GWX manual .

RTFM! and happy hunting

I have heard of this problem but wasn't sure of it. It is the first time this has happened to me. Thanks!

as far as im aware it is hit or miss whether or not it happens. i think the game just has a 'moment of confusion' and decides to crash you to the bottom for no reason whenever it wants.

i think its sort of random

This might help? Sounds like the dreaded Windspeed Bug I met once... :hmm:

could be... but as he stated he saved at about 25 meters depth. :hmm: but you're right... could be the windspeed issue
