Some recent photos from Reuters

These guys were so close...

and now they are leaving driven away by a brave partizan army
(almost Tito style or shall I say Albania)

Get it! - you pesky Russians
http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/28/kerpe1.0/0_162ce_a3294a56_L.jpg

Get it! Get it! Tra-la-la! Tra-la-la (Hm... should I say Suliko:hmm:

In the meantime, Georgian men are reoccupying military base in Sanaki.

First off, sure...
http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/37/kerpe1.0/0_162d5_f66f5de4_L.jpg

Oppa! They left something for us to play with...

Time to strip off all that civic stuff,
put on some cotton from the pile and we are warriors again!!!

Not yet still.
They left 20 peacekeepers near Poti.
Those Russians digged their trenches and foxholes.
http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/29/kerpe1.0/0_162d0_a03ff5dd_L.jpg

But brave Georgians will always defeat the coward enemy hiding from them in foxholes.
They employed the Wunderwaffe - Georgian style

Russkies are watching, watching, watching...

I don't think they're being "driven away by a brave partisan army".
It look more like they're leaving on their own and people crowded around to yell at them.

I think you did not get sarcasm of Bruno's post. He is kind of parodying and grotesking Georgian/Western propaganda and some always-negative anti-Russian postings on this forum which are independent on what the situation is.

Some of Bruno's posts have the right mixture of good humor and sarcasm making them quite enjoyable.

Year, it's not that black-and-white picture.

Look how 'terrorized' Georgian family is sharing
lavash (traditional Georgian bread)
with 'occupants'

Or is it the other way around - Russians to Georgians?
But does it really matter - which way?

Georgian girls....
Well, they all look pretty similar, rather short, dark hair and rather big noses.
And they're all named Nino.
The only exception to that are some with russian names and some are named Nana, which is Nino in a georgian mountain dialect
:rotfl:
Georgia is a bit like Molvania in some ways...
Btw, guys are usually named David (Dato) or Khakha, but some have russian names like their president.
You would think the russians have a name problem with their roundabout dozen common names but the georgians only have two or three per sex.

Maybe, with that "passive resistance" stuff, Sakashvili hopes that some poor Ivan Ivanovich Ivanov might get nervous and shoot some poor Nino Khamikhadze in front of CNN cameras, thereby scoring a propaganda victory.

Yep, their patience has limits.
They don't like to be spit on and pelted with sh***t.
They prefer bullets.

Hey, Poti men - quit hiding behind women!

I have a hunch that Suliko has a lot of Slavic or Finn blood in her veins.
She doesn't look like a typical Georgian girl to me

Mixed marriages were commonplace in the USSR.

Then the jokes on him as it's the exact same picture that he posted just with a different caption added.

The bread photo, at that moment, it kind of looks like the lady is the recipient. Her hand is completely gripped on it and it appears the soldier is releasing it (pinky is closest to her and is off the bread). Sorry guys, just an observation and I firmly believe that BL is the soup nazi from seinfeld!

@1480
No, you are wrong on both accounts.

The photo was made on 22.08.2008 by Сергей Гриц © AP Photo/Сергей Гриц/Scanpix.

A caption to the photo made by Сергей Гриц is 'Georgian family is sharing bread with Russian solders on the road near village of Igoeti'.

Georgian woman is holding Georgian bread (lavash) tightly - making sure that the Russian solder has a firm grip of it, otherwise the bread might end up in dust or oil. Her both kids have their own chunks of lavash (or cookies?) in their hands (increase the picture). First to kids - then to solders. She's just doing the right thing.

On the second account. You are wrong again. I am neither Iranian or a member of NSDAP.

Maybe, but ask yourself why would a Georgian voluntarily give food to a Russian who has just flattened her village?

C'mon dude, even the soup nazi never took enjoyment from the suffering of innocent people.

Until you show pics (or at least a picture) made by international photo agency of 'flattenned', i.e. destroyed Georgian village of Igoeti

I am calling you a liar

P.S. If you will I will show you many pictures of destruction in Tshinval (South Ossetia).
Women and kids killed by guys in US MARPAT.

How you call it - 'Remember the Alamo'?
Well, we call it - 'Remember the Tshinval'!!!
