Just had the Co2 bug:down: ,my crew was outside while submerged and i was allready crossing my fingers, but helas the crew died trying to rush them back to base....they were inside the boat while surfaced..i couldnt get them out even when i told them i saw a island infested with women:p

I tried diving,surfacing,sillent running,battlestations,manual repositioning of crewmembers,crashdive,emergency surface....but to no effect.

Does anyone know how to solve/bypass this problem? Is it the savegame that screws up?This was my eleventh patrol, does a bug build up over the course of the carreer mode?

Anyway a terrible end to a successfull patrol,i was allready thinking about returning to base...

I run 1.5 and only the Aircraft mod and captain midnight..

Hrm... never heard of this one.

Did your Air Conditoner break?

Did Bernard pass gas again?

You have a previous save of course right?

Save and reload usually takes care of it for me.

Same save file didnt have the bug, cause i reloaded and it was fine..

How it happened i will never know,i had no damage indicated:hmm:

There is no logic to it. It's one of those "Twilight Zone" things:yep:

This is one of those influenza things that occasionally strikes some and not others. It has happened to me. The only way I can cure it is to save, exit to Main Menu and reload my save. That always fixes it. Just saving and re-starting never does it for me.

Same thing happened to me yesterday evening. On the surface cruising when I hit F4 (Bridge view) and noticed no crew on watch duty. Then after a while the CO2 icon popped up.
Nothing I did would make it go away until I saved, exited to main menu, and reloaded the save.

It's happened to me twice as well & the save / reload has cleared it up both times.

I had it once - I also solved it with a save/reload. I had to do it at the surface for it to work though.

this bug gets introduced by taskswitching

so a simple bypass is to just have the game running and nothing else, and dont alt-tab out of the game

for me, that's the trick. i had the bug bite me countless times, as well as the watch crew on deck at 200 feet - variant.

new install, ran quite smooth. alttabbed to this forum to talk about how great it went...
boom the bug hit me on the first dive

from where i'm sitting, it's purely a taskswitching problem which somehow got introduced by 1.5

The co2 gage rised even after hitting the surface.16 hours later they all died ......at the surface XD
I saved the game then i gone back to the startscreen and loaded that just created savegame. Then the bug was gone.

I guess you are right,i tend to use alt-tab sometimes, and it gave me another problem,HUGE framedropping, then i alt-tab again and the framedrop is gone...usually i dont care much about bugs, but this one is very annoying....

So you could say i cant do without alt-tab,and if the bug appears i will just save it and load again, right?

yup, in my experience, it gets introduced by taskswitching and it gets solved by a save/reload

as a general rule i save my game at night on the surface every other day or so and I now have a habit of playing the game without anything else running in the background. I have been remarkably free from bugs at all ever since, currently actually rather enjoying 1.5 with TMO. go figure, after all my previous whining.

kudos to all modders (and i guess even to the devs) and sincere apologies for any annoying griping in days gone by

Oke i have this new problem...but i think i solved it

I am in my 15th career patrol,i'm based in Brisbane now and allready had one patrol saved from there. Now when i plot a course to my objective and use TA the whole game crashes!

I run Vista,so i was expecting some minor problems, but this is a big one...i never had a CTD with this game before,i tried it 4 times, and it CTD's at exactly the same spot everytime...the error module is sound.act and a buch of codes was produced everytime the same errorlog..

So i deleted the savefile(in which i sunk 2 carriers:damn: ) and the problem is solved,no more ctd.

Any ideas/discussion on this?
