HELP!! I lost all my saved games

Hi guys,

I am new in the subsim world and would like to discover it.

I couldnt find the answers so I placed a new topic. (sorry for that)

The problem:

I installed SH3 (version 1.4) on my computer together with GWX 2.0, commander and some mods. It runs on vista without problems.

I started a career and went on my first patrol. A couple of times i saved my games.
The next day i loaded my last saved game without any problems.
Finally saved it again. couple of days later i want to load a saved game but i found out that all my saved games were gone. The save game list was empty, blanco.

So i started a new carreer ...and it happend again!! In commander i found out my last save was on 23rd august but when i started the game the list was empty.:damn:

I was pretty upset so i removed SH3 completely in order to reistall it again.

Is there any captain who had the same problem??

You will find your saved game in C/MyDocs.

Add for example an 'x' to the folder and they should reappear next time you load your game.

Later you can delete the 'x' and carry on as normal.

I am not an computer expert so i am afraid you have to explain your answer.

I have to add an "x" to the folder...Do I have to rename my folder?? Should my savings start with "x"??

First i have to reinstall the game. Yesterday i found out that i only played the game with GWX and some mods. Now i will add it with GWX 2.0.

This week I dont have much time because of my work :down:

Would you be standby? I would be thankfull.

After you have reinstalled your game and started playing/saving again, your saves (which by default go to 'C:\Documents and Settings\your name\My Documents') will have a name (usually the name of your Kaleun eg: Endrass)....add an 'x' at the end eg: Endrassx....your saves should be viewable again and you can delete the 'x' later.
