new sub progression

When I played last, I was in an s-boat, then was awarded a gato. Is there a mod or way to set it myself so i progress though the stages of newer subs??

1) s-boats
2) porpose class
3) salmon or sargo class
4) gar class
5) gato class

this makes much more sence and would enrich my gaming experence. I would appriciate all the advances as they occured. From torpedo tubes 4/0 to 4/2 to 4/4 to 6/4, etc.

How bout some help from the guys who know all the ins and outs, ok??

I dont know about a mod but the tutorial in my siggy
will give you some notion of how to set that yourself
in the files using word or notepad.

somewhere it is set to move you up a ship at a certain renoun, i dont know the # or how to set up a progression of ships

it should be automatic at certain renoun levels, what i want to see is PROGRESSION through the different types of boats, not a big jump tp gato

While I can see the appeal of a progression system, it's probably more realistic to be assigned a Gato-class rather than one of the older boats, when you get the 'new sub' offer. Those were what were being built at the time.

Of course, a lot of skippers were being relieved and replaced, too, so ending up with something else was quite possible.

I just think it would be nice to move up through the list. it gives you something to work for.

Like I said, I do see the appeal of your idea. I wouldn't personally like a straight progression in this game, mind, but tastes differ: a lot of race fans hated having to unlock stuff on GT Legends, but I actually enjoyed that.

Might ask if it could be modded or something?

Im not a modder ( but admire all of you who are.) could 1 of you write this up , if its not too muck to ask. If it is too much, how can I change the sub I have every 4000 renoun points or so?
