Found these on militaryphotos.net
Apparently these two were canadian combat engineers (tree removal specialists??) deployed with the first KFOR contingent.
Re the video, I stumbled upon it while searching "Georgia" on Youtube.
These guys claim to have a dead bigfoot and will release details tomorrow.
Strange is, I always thought those big apes were in the Northwest, Oregon and Washington, not down South?
Maybe just an extremely inbred Redneck??

They're not combat engineers, they are Canadian Assault Pioneers, infantrymen with specialist training in engineer skills with some combat engineer equipment. Each infantry battalion had an Assault Pioneer platoon and by tradition pioneers were entitled to wear beards after completion of the Basic Assault Pioneer course and upon joining their battalions pioneer platoon.

Assault pioneers specialized in building obsticles, fortifications, bridges, minefields (now banned), booby-traps (now IED's) and providing aids to digging, both explosive and mechanical. They were also very good at blowing things up. As an organic part the battalion combat support company, while on operations there was never enough of them to do all the tasks required.

These are old photos, from the FRY in the ninties and the soldier on the left is the platoon Warrant Officer. The assault pioneer platoons were disbanded as a cost saving measure and they are sorely missed in the battalions. Another instance of a false economy...

There seems to be something not quite right about the "discovery"...

There's a lot not right about it. That looks a whole lot like my neighbor, Bubba, after a 12 pack of PBR.

Another interesting piece about the people involved in this "discovery" http://www.livescience.com/strangenews/080813-bigfoot-sighting.html

So lemme get this straight?

Georgia attacks Ossetia.

Russia counter attacks pretty savagely

and all of a sudden these hunyucks from Georgia discover Big Foot?

Maybe it was just some Russian special forces guy in a ghillie suit?

Boy am I confused here :88)

So was that unnamed News service that showed the Russian attack happening somewhere near Savannah. The Georgia being referred to here is the one I live in (southeastern United States).

Take a good look what can you tell about these gentlemen their
behaviours beliefs and how well equipped such groups are.

IIRC he said they were former upstanding serviceman and I think
he said ones a former police officer I may be wrong.
but I see two civilians in identical combat fatiques stood infront
of a non GI Track. This is some sort of militia activity and not
the GNG.

So I know its not good to generalize but what could you expect
from them if they said who they were. Legitimacy?

its a hoax and will turn out to be a poor one at that.
what sane person whos trying to preserve a body for
later examination keeps it wet and warm. sorry but the
freezer isnt working so move the beast to somewhere cold
dark and dry. Most people with no training could mangage it.

Eh maybe Im wrong but ......

It's embarassing to live in the same state as these clowns:oops:

Hey look, Bubba, think we could pass off this road-kill as bigfoot guts?

The funniest thing I saw about this was one persons comment that the scariest part of the whole thing was that one of the "discoverers" was a police officer with a badge and a gun:rotfl:

They were taking people out on bigfoot expeditions. I think they should have just left things alone, seems they were making pretty good money without concocting this thing up which is certainly a hoax.

If that's the case, I'm getting really pi55ed off. One of those guys was on leave from his job because he'd been shot. Sounds like he really needed the time off. I wonder if I'm paying his disability pay?:damn:
