View Full Version : The power of advertising not good?
I've been listening to LBC Radio and they were talking about 1 in 6 women now think when you hit 20 your over the hill, old in layman's terms.
And heres the shocker, time to slap on the anti aging & wrinkly cream! :o
This is put down to all these young models advertising this gunk, if this is the case what next I ask you?

If these young women believe it, then as they say, a fool and his(hers in this case) money are soon parted. Maybe when they are broke they will wisen up.

I thought only hillbillies beleived that 18 was an 'old maid'.
I guess they were actually prescient all along.

At our house it seems like we get every single catalogue published and many of them are for woman's fashions.
Always on the look out for an idea for something to buy the Frau, I was leafing though one, just before I was going to throw it away. There was this nice summer dress. Ohh looks nice. But then I looked at the sizes. A size 10 was called extra large :nope:
No wonder young girls have such image issues when a size 10 dress is considered extra large. :damn: :damn:
