^ There's a reason why there are no Burger Kings in Finland. You mentioned it.

I am so happy I never eat fast food. :smug:Yes Steed I'm with you. I stopped eating a restaurants when I heard someone I knew many years ago used to releave himself in pickle jars... nasty.:shifty:
Anyhow I'm not worried what fastfood chain adds to the fast food. I'm more worried what their employees add to the sauce.:nope:

Several years back. The local taco bell had sickened over thirty people here. The county public health went in and found that the employees had fecal matter on their hands. Even when the bacteria is found in food. More often than not the source is usually from human contamination. It takes 20 seconds of scrubbing the hands with hot soapy water to effectively clean them. The average person might wash them for five seconds. This is a waste of time and will not remove the bacteria from the hands. Kids who work at these places do not take this stuff seriously either. If you want to stay healthy do not eat at fast food joints.

I think a great many establishments exhibit poor cleaning and health code proceedures. Just last week I watched a McDonalds employee drop a sandwich on the floor (was still wrapped) and pick it up. Then he put it in a customers bag. Sorry, the sandwich should have gone into the garbage and fresh placed in the bag. Come on, the floor is dirty. Not to mention all the crap on the bottom of their shoes now transfered to the outer wrapping of the sandwich. Also, last week, I was watching a short order cook scratch his head three times while prepping food with his hands. Not sure about you but I do not like brill cream in my food nor dandruff for that matter found under his nails. Next issue I saw last week, women is eating half the pastries on the racks at a bagel shop. Her hand is touching her mouth not to mention licking her fingers. I saw all of this in just one weeks time. Cleanliness is something most do not care about in the food industry. I know folks, there are a few that do but from my experience, most are not up to code.
And a percentage of them do not wash there hands after a No.2  :nope:
Always inspect the toilets first as this will give you a good idea on there food handling, foul toilet suspect food preparation.
I nearly forgot this one, many years ago I was in a fast food joint with a mate I know who complain about something. Any how he told them you would not expect me to get my dick out slap in a bun and say chomp on this with your coke.
He got his money back that day.

My wife like to watch Opera. This one story caught my ear. Opera had this young girl on a while back on her show. This girl was doing a survey on fastfood chains. She was testing how clean there drinks where from Bacteria.
Her finding in her location was that most fast food chains had toilette water cleaner than their softdrink machines pumping out cola's.
I don't recall the exact numbers sorry.:hmm: After Opera's show hehehe many cleaned their machines...
You have to wonder how do we let owner of these establishments get away with this.

As an EMT riding on the inner city squads during the day, most of our calls were for restaurant workers. Trust me on this, you do not want to go behind the doors in a restaurant.
When it comes to the food you eat, ignorance is bliss. :know:
I used to work as a short order cook in a small strip mall coffee shop. Of course, that was many many years ago when standards were a little different. But you are right...I would not eat in a BK or MD after looking at their floors from the counter...it is just a little gross...
