I've got one open right now. Not a big fan of this beer. Has a subtle but somewhat nasty aftertaste as found in many other brews, especially from Germany. La Fin Du Monde's bad aftertaste comes to mind, but on a much smaller scale - http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/22/34
I'm not sure why people like a nasty aftertaste, but I hate it. Ruins a beer.
My recommendation - do not buy. It is drinkable, but not worth the $8 per bottle price tag by any margin.

PS. This is so new, i can't find a label.

Crud! i can't get away from this aftertaste today!
Drinking a Dick's Hefeweizen and it has the same nasty aftertaste! i understand many people like this, but you will never find a beer that scores 90 points or above that has it - bar none - period. Usually these beers have a distinctive sweet aftertase to beak the 90 point barrier.

Subman, have you ever thought of starting a beer aficionado's thread? You seem to be both knowlegable and adventurous when it comes to the subject. I am sure that a number of members, myself included, could benefit from your knowledge on the subject.

STEED - I've tried several of the Witchwood Breweries offerings. I'll I remember right now is the Hob Gobin Ale or soemthign of that nature. It wasn't bad. Its a little on the lighter side for me though.
