For those who want to wear the jacket of the U-boat officers, here's a nice link with a shop that sells real nice reproductions. I saw them this weekend on a miltiaria fair here in Belgium and had the change to check it out in real life, real nice leather and very well finished for a great price, it has even nicely done buttons (for those who might ask, there is no swastika in the eagle stamp). i myself bought the Black Luftwaffe combat jacket because it looks better on me.

This is no commercial add, I don't have any connection with the seller besides being a happy customer. Just want to let people know there are some really nice affordable reproductions in this world.

Interesting,
Thanks for shareing.
Hi there! =)
Those U-Boat jackets are really nice. I got one as a 'heirloom' from my grandfather. It smells like old leather and diesel fuel, but is amazingly comfortable and warm.

Aye.. he did. On two, to be precise. The first (U-990, Type VIIC) got bombed and sunk by a Liberator, and the second (U-2512, Type XXI) got scuttled when the war ended.
