Game manual and Res upgrade

I have two questions. I downloaded SH3 from Steam and can find the manual nowhere. I also do not see it when right clicking on the game in Steam (where you can usually find manuals).
I could not find a pdf by search. Anyone know where the manual download is?

Also, I saw in another post a link (which may no longer be active) in order to increase resolution. I'd like to get it up to 1440x900. Right now it is limited to something like 1024x800. Anyone know how to do that? I'm running that res in all my other games.

U can change the res in sh3/data/cfg/Main.cfg.

As far as the res, I found the .cfg file but was not able to open it. Any further advice on that one that you could offer?

Right click on the .cfg file and Open With ... NotePad or simular.. then you should be able to edit it.

The manual can be found in PDF format in the Documentation folder within the SH3 Program folder (default c:\program files\ubisoft...)

The resolution change within the cfg should not work (although some say it does). If you find no change, you can download the Resolution fix from here (instructions are in the archive) - http://files.filefront.com/SH3+XPSP2+Res+Fix+for+14bzip/;7588690;/fileinfo.html
