What happened to my deck gun crew?

I recently moved my deck gun from BOW to AFT on my new Balao class sub after patrol 7 ended, right after I did this my deck gun crew went missing in the beginning of patrol 8. Now I am missing the two crewman "slots" where it says AFT deck gun, and my two deck gun crewmen are missing as well. My deck gun reloads VERY SLOWLY to the point where it takes forever to sink even a small ship! I understand reloading my older saved game from an earlier patrol would solve all my problems, but I don't keep my old saved games. Someone please help me get my deck gun back to the way it was! Maybe one of your saved games, there has to be a way to fix this, right? :cry:

I was told that it is a bug, and If you move you gun from aft to fore or vice versa that is just what happens. To fix it change back next time in port. Your crewmen slots will reappear.

I ddn't get to test this 'cause I started a new career..but I have been careful not to move the gun and it hasn't happened again.

Like I said ....I didn't go through with this because I started a new career....but... The impression I was given was that when you were in port and replaced the deckgun to it's original position the crew slots would immediately reappear. Drag the available deckgun on the left to the desired slot on the right..then go to the crew screen and the deckgun crewman slots ought to be there...I assume.

When you get a new sub with a deckgun, the crewslots would already be there anyway.... at least until you changed the deckgun position again that is ...:D

When I returned to port after patrol 8 was over, then I relocated the deck gun back to its original BOW placement. This nothing for the missing deck gun crewmen, I guess I'll have to wait till I get a new sub. I can deal with that, but I'll never change anything around again! :)
