I guess someone from Apple needs a calendar. April the 1st we had already :damn:

Sadly (or thankfully?) I know no one who owns an iPhone so I could check this.

I do, but after you get over the neat way it flicks stuff around, its a rather pathetic peice of kit that could be better served by a Pocket PC phone - more specifically, something like that AT&T Tilt with maybe a 32 GB SD card.

I laughed when watching the BBC they were talking about an official term for someone who buys an iphone... a wazzock lol

Wazzock: Mild insult, one who is foolish, one who has made an arse of themselves, one who is rather daft.

Telegraph Report... (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/opinion/main.jhtml?xml=/opinion/2007/11/10/do1006.xml) (check the Q&A bit lol)

My daughter wanted a good Media player for xmas, and I was honestly worried she was going to ask for an ipod, cos she is 16. If she asked for an ipod then it told me that she is a wazzock, and does not actually want something to listen to music with - she just wants a badge to pin somewhere where everyone can see it

I was so relieved when she actually asked for a Zen. Proved to me she has a good head on her shoulders, and prefers quality sound over wazzockness. Considering Creative Labs do a range of superb soundcards, which most people want in their PCs, you cannot really go wrong!

I was watching a report on BBC News where someone was saying that the whole world is becoming a race of show-offs. You have people that were normally quiet, dancing on youtube: thriving for attention and ratings from everyone else. He was saying that places like Bebo, MySpace, Facebook, Youtube etc are springing up all over the place proving how we are all living with status anxiety: worried about what people think about us: trying to clock up as many ratings as possible.

PS. My daughter is now a proud owner of an 8gb Zen Mediaplayer - she ACTUALLY wanted to listen to music, not show-off :D
