Just on the off chance that anyone knew about this guy, he died this month of congestive heart failure. I missed the original announcement of his death.

Copied from Wikipedia
Roger Wolcott Hall (May 20, 1919, Baltimore, MD - 20 July 2008, Windsor Hills, DE; congestive heart failure) was an American Army officer and spy in the Office of Strategic Services during WWII and the author of a humorous memoir of his experiences in the O.S.S., entitled "You’re Stepping on My Cloak and Dagger" (1957). The book was reportedly used in C.I.A training and was re-issued by the Naval Institute Press in 2004. [1] He also wrote two novels: "All My Pretty Ones" about the world of fashion and "19" about the O.S.S.

I have a first edition copy of his book "You’re Stepping on My Cloak and Dagger" While it is humourous book, knowing the way the government worked, I am sure that this book reflects the actual environment of the OSS. I highly recommend this for a good read. I have not read "19" but will add that to my library.

Anyone else a Roger Hall fan?
