Just as a way to introduce myself, I'm a 30 year old resident of the Mountain state, Arm chair skipper, and a fan of the work produced by the modders withing the SH4 forum.
I've been playing the SH series since the first one, and was finally forced to resign my old laptop to the boneyard, Buy a new one, and finally relax so that I might partake of the fourth in the chapter. I'm married, My wife and I have one child, and she seems content with the notion, that I spend far too many hours within a darkened room, staring at Japanese shipping lanes.
I've looked for the appropriate place to post this, if theirs a sticky thread I missed, then by all means...
Put me out a tube...

in addendum,
I'll just post the modding question to the appropriate forum

As a very old gamer (compared to you anyway) I'll just say WELCOME ABOARD!:sunny:
Anywhere you introduce yourself is fine, though there is one forum where you're welcome to tell us more.

There are lots of forums (fora?) here covering lots of topics, and lots of friendly people who just want to help. Feel free to post anywhere and ask anything.
[edit] Matewan, eh? Never been there, but John Sayles made a movie about something that happened there a long time ago.

Well, we need to know what the question is:D I read your post and did not find the elusive question mark:up: BTW, I tell my wife that watching the shipping lanes in a darkened room sure beat me sitting in darkened bar with a fist for of dollars for the dancing ladies. She tends to agree. I sail on!

Not yet but Skwasjer is working on it. It might be a while as he also has developed and is still working on a S3D editor that is simply awesome for the modders.

That's why I'm spending my time here in port, rather than running deep.
I'm hoping to be a contributor to the project if he can use me.
I dropped him a message last night inquiring if I could be of help. If he don't need me, then I guess I'll just keep deploying till I teach myself to code the thing.
