Transfered to 7th from 1st No type 7?

Quick question,

In my career it's June 1940 and decided to transfer to the 7th. Was able to transfer no problem but the Type 7 is not in the upgrade section? Does a patrol need to be done first from Kiel before it shows? Any ideas guys..........

Using JC wolfs mod and SH3 commander 2.7

Are you playing stock ?

Do you have the historical U-boat availability dates ticked ?

yes , no GWX, and in commander the Historical uboat dates is checked.

Try unticking the dates.

Yeah thats what happened to me once. I picked the 7th but i could only get a type 2. I thought it may be available if i do patrol and yep after my 1st patrol i had the type 7 available for 2500 renown.

That happened to me. I transferred and it wasn't available. I exit SHIII, start it up again, and it was available. You don't need to do a patrol. I had the realistic dates checked in SH3 commander too.

The 7th Flotilla should have the VIIb from the outset of hostilities.

Reloading as already mentioned should sort it. :up:

Got home and tried it worked fine the 7B boat was there to buy. Thanks for the help.

This is good news for my IID captain transferring from the Black Sea to Brest. I was wondering where my boat upgrades were. I need to sink a few more though for a VIIB/C but hey, it's only January 1943 :smug:. Nice little boat too the IID.

What could possibly go wrong! ;)
