:D Hi everyone!
I know there is a sharp brain out there somewhere:lol:
How can I remove the text "Game paused"!?!
I saw a post in here about it , but it doesn't work:damn:
The instruction say this ;

Go into your "Program Files\Ubisoft\SilenthunterIII\data\main " directory,
and open up the file in there called "en_menu.txt" .
And at line "90" you will see the "Game Paused" string .
Delete the text , but leave the bit says "90=" , save
the file , and that's it , no more "Game Paused" text in the game .

I must have did something wrong here but what:hmm:
I followed the instruction very carefully .:o
If anyone could help me with this one , I will be glad:p

Thanks for the help!

The correct folder is:

Program Files\Ubisoft\SilenthunterIII\data\menu

Open the appropriate language file. en_menu.txt if you play in English, but there are other language versions there too. (e.g. de_menu.txt)

Search for "90=" and it will say something like:

90=GAME PAUSED

This needs to be replaced with

90=

Note that you need to save this file and then restart the game.

Lykke til!

If it's removal is for picture taking, why not just hit the Del button. :hmm:

The delete button on the numpad, bottom right of the keyboard

I thought that's what I posted :hmm: ....careful mind the 'Delete' button also exists on the keyboard but is the wrong one :lol:

Search the entire file for the string "90="... you may find there is another instance of it.

Also, make sure you really are running the version of the game that you think you are.

You could, for instance, try changing a different string in the file (careful though!).

And certainly, changing "90=GAME PAUSED" into "90=TEST MESSAGE" might help confirm things.

Certainly though, for the purposes of screenshots, Jimbuna's idea will work. Make sure you have "numlock" on though. In a way, it is really the ".", not "Del" key. (KP-PERIOD, not KP_DEL)

PS: One possibility is that the game has a default for "90=", and this needs to be overwritten with something. If the programme finds "90=", it may object. So, try putting in a non-printing character (e.g. ALT+0160).
However, this last idea is just a theory.
