View Full Version : Torpedos disapears !
Let me expose my little torpedo problem.
I want to transfer 2 torpedos from deck and i select one T5 acoustic and one T3(two free cases only).
And I go in x2048 to do it quickly.
What for a surprise when I watch the result: just one torpedo, the T3, has been transfered !
Probably I moved the two torpedos on the same case and the T3 has simply deleted the T5 !
What's for a joke ?
:damn:

This is a bug that happens sometimes, :-? shame you had to lose a T5 over it, it has nothing to do with the TC though... would've happened anyway
One question wich is totaly out of supject, how can you go into x2048 ? i only manage to get 1000 or soo :S

Using GWX2.1? I can only do 1048x in that.

One of the menus in SH3 Commander allows you to customise your TC settings. Be careful, some of them if wrongly set, will bite back!

Using Sh3 Commander you can go up to x4096.
If you set your TC too high in Sh 3 Commander you may experience instability, freezes or lockups so be careful.

Absolutelly right, I got CTD myself when tried to get closer to Dunkirch on TC once. The TC wasn't so high, x256 maybe and still got kicked out from the game :x
Well, the torpedos problem is a bug, ok. Next time, I load my torpedos step by step and one by one.
Thank you.
For the TC I set in SH3Cdr on x4096 but rarely use it at this speed.
But in 2048 there is no problem and it's very usefull for the long trip.
Only 1 danger: don't push on the crash dive key !
Using Sh3 Commander you can go up to x4096.
Cheers i just keep learning !

You can also use Wolfie's TweekSH3 to reset your max TC., as well as a bunch of other TC settings, map zooms, etc.
Bob
And you can do it also manualy in the appropriate file(but I don't remember what file lol).
Don't be afraid: target is well detected by crew in 1024 and 2048 no problem about it.
But in 4096 I don't know...
To manualy change it edit this file:
C:\Documents and Settings\USER\My Documents\SH3\data\cfg\main.cfg
Maximum=1024 to Maximum=2048

It's not recommended mind....only the higher end systems can usually cope with that level of tc.
Don't need an other thread to ask you: can you tell me what is the better torpedo between the T5 and the T1 LUT 1(G7a) ?
