Hey ! i got a probleme :> its simply im playing SH3 wiee got it to work on Vista 64bit :D wos over happy but now when im playing in night i simply can't see anything and when WO spots an ship i at night i have a hard time finding it what could be the probleme ? 1 year ago befor i stopped playing i had no problemes and now i got loads makes it really hard to sink any ships at night time

Running these mods GWX 2.1, OLCE2, useing 16k Atmosphere SH3 commander

dose anyone know the sulotion to this probleme ?
ow yeah i use a LCD Sceen tried to see if it wos to dark but dosent seem to be the probleme ( i think )

:hmm:Are you using the SH3Commander and JSGME!?! If you are using JSGME there you have a Mod called "GWX-16 km Atmosphere" use the last link I gave you with that one . You know I live in the westcoast of Norway and this week we have a big heatwave over us. It's so hot:dead: Therefore I am messing around sorry:roll:

olce2 includes an 15k-athmosphere that has to be used instead of the 16k mod and not additionaly (sry for bad english)

You only take the skins "data" folder and drop it into "SH3 directory" :

I had a big improvement on night-time visibility when I adjusted the contrast setting (and brightness) of my videocard. I lowered the contrast to minimum to make bright pixels less bright, and then made dim pixels a bit brighter by increasing brightness a bit. Some also want to change their gamma setting but that doesn't look right in my opinion.

Apart from that it is important what light environment you have around your pc. A big window during daylight, or a bright table lamp to see what keys you press on the keyboard? Avoid those as they ruin your eye sensitivity to dim light. Try to use as little additional light (other than what your monitor emits) as possible.
