Navy Rail Gun Test

Hey! I've been following Navy rail gun experiments and technology up until recently, and I was wandering if any of you fellows have heard anything new. Any idea on the status of the current best and most powerful is as of now?:know:

I always found the idea fascinating but the last test I saw, in which a bullet the size of a pencil lead punched a 4-inch deep crater into a block of steel, destroyed the gun.
It may be a while longer before we see real progress in magnetic projectile acceleration.
