View Full Version : Mediterranean hot spots...
I just started a career with the 23rd Flotilla. It's November 1941 & I've finished my first patrol (sank 4 ships for a little over 12,000 tons). I'm at sea during patrol 2 & I'd like to know where some of the more profitable squares are? Targets seem to be few & far between; I've come across more friendlies than enemies. Up to this point I've sank 2 small merchantmen but just got chased away from a tramp steamer & a Granville-type freighter by 2 escorts:damn: near Tobruk.
Thank you...:)

South of Sardinia is also a good spot and SE of Crete
I usually patrol the narrows between Sicily and Cape Bon. Anything going from one side of the Mediterranean to the other must go through there, and I have nailed already some british light cruisers that way

Media Luna, Cala Carbón and Cala del Barronal were great spots. Unbelieveable women, great beaches and......... oh we're talking about sinking ships?
