Well it had to happen.
after several long and dangerous patrols i finally lost two trusted experienced men today.

while patroling off the american coast...i was suprised by an american bomber out of the clouds off my port side. i tried to turn to a course that would offer the smallest target to the aircraft and dive...but he dropped 4 charges, one a direct hit onto my aft deck. My trusty lookout and flak gunner....both with many patrols under their belts didn't stand a chance. both hit immediately and died instantly.
never been surprised by an aircraft so close before...and man those USA bombers carry a lot more punch than the bees we get in the channel.

now coming from the guy that posted about losing my marbels and checking on my crew even when ive a party going on!!...it was heartbreaking to right click those two icons and bury them at sea.............the americans will pay for this dearly!!!

the rest of my crew have been giving the two newcommers frosty glares since they arrived aboard....hope they can be trusted.

It's always a sad day when you lose valuable crew members, even more when there experienced crew. (which has happened to me on several ocassions).
Lets hope these replacments do just as a godd job, if not transfer them out to abother boat as soon as possible.

Its always a sad day when you loose a crew member. Especialy when he is experienced. I once lost my entire crew in the in my Raido room and foward crew cabin area of my boat to one of those distroyers. Later lost my boat with my crew of five patroals.:shifty: I had just sunk his partner distroyer.
