From some time I have strange graphic problem. When I enter the game all moving objects start "jumping". Animation is not smooth, looks like the game looses every second frame. I tried all possible drivers but nothing helped. Only solution for this bug is starting the game with Vetical synch on. I can turn it off later but I have to start the game with this. I know generally it's not big deal but everytime I quit the game I have to turn it on again coz if I won't do this I will have to restart the game. Sometimes I forget do this...

Anyone know what is wrong ?

My PC spec:
Asus P5W DH Deluxe
Intel Core 2
8800gt
2 Gb ram

System: XP Pro

Thx

I know it's a really simple suggestion and there may be reasons for not leaving it on, but if vertical synch solves the problem, why not leave it on for SH4? Are you saying you have to set vertical synch on in your video settings in the nVidia drivers or in your game?

Lee - no, it's not this problem

Yes, turning on Vertical synch and than tunring it off in the game solves this problem but with this option on my framerate drops about 10 fps, even on my 8800gt. Because SH doesn't need it I turn it off.

Generally it's not problem for me turn it on everytime I leave the game but as I said sometimes I forget do this and I must restart the game ;) . And I was just wondering if someone had this problem too but nevermind ;)

You can use an application called nHancer that is an Nvidia setting override program. It can be set for the SHIV.EXE w/ specific settings - such as "Vsync on" - and SHIV will always start w/ these settings.

Check out this thread for the settings to go w/ nHancer -they work and look great!!!
