FROM VON HALLY:
TO:ALL KALEUNS AT SEA:
HAVE I FLIPPED?:
my fellow kaleuns.
was happily patroling my assingned sector when the nearest and dearest informed me (via internal communication device)..that i had to "leave my little crew alone for a while" as i had family..that i hadn't seen in a long time...visiting us.
cue mutch drinking and reaquanting with my long lost relatives till late into the night...untill finally crashing my head onto the pillow about 5am.
next morning my girlfriend gives me a nudge,,,,then another...till i finally come to..........and says..."whats wrong with you!!...youve got family here youve not seen in ages and you leave the room every fifteen minutes to poke your head round the spare room door to see how your ********** crew are doing....theres something wrong with you hally!!!"
and to be honest...i did...i couldnt help it!!
i couldnt turn it off...and i couldn't help myself checking on my boat.....does anyone know of any pils that might help:yep:

now, being serious... it's all will power... you CAN do it... now alt-tab back to sh3, save that patrol and finish it later!

Kill everyone on the planet bar yourself and no more distractions as you set sail. Alright that was a bit extreme that advice.

Check out the standby mode or hibernate on your computer. You can fire it up again quickly without waiting. Your crew are still on duty but you can relax.
Women just don't understand. We can't make them.
I introduce my male visitors to the game, and they love it. The women can't say too much then. It is the same as the guys sitting in front of the TV watching sports.

We admitted we were powerless over the allure of SUBMARINES—that our lives had become unmanageable.
Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.
Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of Neal and the community, as we understood them.
Made a searching and fearless "self-patrolling" of ourselves.
Admitted to Neal, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our "TDC miscalculations".
Were entirely ready to have Neal and the rest of the community remove all these defects of our kaleuns/skippers.
Humbly asked Neal and the rest of the community to remove our malfunctions.
Made a list of all persons we had torpedoed, and became willing to make a peace treaty to them all.
Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would inflict torpedo damage them or others.
Continued to take a log of the "personal events" of your kaleun/skipper and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.
Sought through posting and PM'ming to improve our conscious and constant sonar and hydrophone contact with Neal and the rest of the community, posting only for knowledge of their will for us and the battery power to carry that out.
Having had a "return to the surface", a "return to the light" GWXperience as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to Subsimmers, and to practice these doctrines in all our course intercepts.May Neal bless us all!:arrgh!:
