This is pathetic! like him or not, he is still the pres of the United States. Of course this is coming from the land of f*gs, so not too surprising.

First of all, this renaming would not take place until 20 Jan 09 when Bush is no longer President. So this would not be disrespecting the office of President.
Second, Bush might as well take this as I doubt there will be anything better named after him. He wanted a legacy in history. This may be the best offer he will get.
Third, why is everyone assuming that a sewage treatment plant is somehow beneath him? Sewage treatment plants are very important and ensure the health of thousands of people. I am sure that the hundreds of people who work at this facility, and the thousands of people who work hard at other sewage treatment plants really appreciate Bush being insulted at being associated with them.
Fourth, This decision will be made by a vote of the people. Let the citizens choose. If Bush did such a great job, he should have nothing to fear right?
Watch this very carefully, ya'll.
Subman. You are a blithering idiot. Really.
Love,

Sounds like democracy to me, I thought that was what the US was about?
PS. Calling California 'the land of f*gs' is a really good way of offending members of this forum. Is there any need for it? ;)

Already called the mods about it. I don't enjoy it when people get radical like this, let alone when such a harsh manner is used.
This may very well be the last we hear of SUBMAN1.

I get the feeling that Subman's manner would be somewhat different if it was President Carter or Clinton that they were naming the plant after. :hmm:

Why the need for homophobic remarks? :nope:
I would agree that the action described in that article is pathetic and puerile but no more or less than your "land of f*gs" line and the constant distortions and outright lies propogated by yourself on this forum surrounding Senator Obama.

I am outraged that a sewage plant should be named after president Bush after his predecessors got us into equal or greater crap. Where is the JFK memorial sewage processing plant for getting us into the Cuban missile crisis or Vietnam? Where are the FDR and Woodrow Wilson Waste plants that commemorate the death of hundreds of thousands of Americans because France and Poland and Russian and those Baltic countries we can't remember the names of got invaded but we love them most?
I think it is totally unfair that G.W. Bush gets a memorial sewage plant when all he did was invade a nation for oil and coincidentally stop one of the genocides we have all been crying about since the Holocaust, because of the sad movies.
I just wish that the ideology of worldwide democracy and exploiting other nations were mutually exclusive. That way we could send relief food to be stolen by warlords everywhere and pop stars would be the saviours of small countries in their own country without actually doing anything for those small countries.
Where did we lose sight of this vision?

Sorry, I thought a fag was a cigarette? You boys are too PC for your own good. Are you men of war or what? I am sure that the sort of a great warrior like Patton would be ratted on as well. What say you about slapping a cowardly soldier? Patriots and Prophets have always been attacked by the feministic men in society. But it is real men who win wars and rescue nations from doom like france and britian in WW1 and 2. Subman is opinionated but I see no wrong in his post at all. If they want to name a sewer after GW, then go ahead and applaud them. I raised my right hand to defend this country from enemies both foreign and domestic. Well for the matter at hand we do have enemies domestic and I have the right to tell them to go back to the sewer they came from and respect the office of president of the United States of America.:yep:

Saying that San Francisco is representative of California as a whole is both inaccurate and insulting to rest of the people in that state.

First of all. Freedom of Speech didn't end outside this website.
Second I don't need anybody defending my state of California.
Whether your foreign or domestic.
Defend your own countries and states.
SUBMAN 1: I do defend your right to an opinion and your right to express it whether I agree with it or not.

Who is defending that trash ridden, mud slide filled, soon to be sea bottom poor excuse for a state?

Which is of course his right to do, correct?
Well, I was talking about you, actually. And yes, it is your right to do so. It's also your right to put on a dress, go to Pahrump, NV, and sell yourself to an elderly gentleman in a clown suit for sexual favors, and I'd prefer you do that. It's also my right, while you kids are bashing the state of California because, in Subman's case, your a homophobe, (Are you, August?) to tell you that I think you have closeted deep dark and repressed sexual feelings for men, resulting in your homophobia. But, what's your point?

Sounds to me like you've gone beyond reading between the lines and straight to rearranging the letters to suit your preconceived biases Enigma...
Care to tell me where i said ANYTHING about homosexuals one way or the other in this thread or anywhere else, or are you just assuming that whenever someone says something negative about SF it just HAS to be about gay bashing?
For the record I don't give a hoot what consenting adults do in the privacy of their bedrooms, and San Francisco has more than their share of freaks on both sides of the sexual orientation divide to make fun of, so get off your high horse and grow a skin.

So, yeah. Read again. I asked you if you had such feelings. I insisted that Subman did.
Of course this is coming from the land of f*gs, so not too surprising.
Really? That was necessary?
