Today, I did two boat dives and finally got open water certified. We dove the "Black Bart" off the coast of Panama City Beach, FL down to 70ft. Then we took a 40 minute surface break before we dove down to 60ft to see a sunk bridge. I don't have any pictures, but there was this Goliath Grouper, that was over 300lbs. I should be gettting my card here in a few weeks at the most. :arrgh!:

I used to be big in to scuba but tapered off when I moved to really cold and crappy water.
Conga rats on getting qualified. Now go for your AOW :up:

Scuba Schools International (SSI) actualy. Wish I had some photos to show you guys, this being a subsim forum, im sure you would have loved to see the wreck.

Iv been diving for 2½ years now. Just got my AOW in a 6 degress (Celcius) cold water dive - DAMN THAT WAS COLD!!!

When I was working as a Dive Master we used to hold SCUBA classes in Nebraska and Kansas. That's about as far away from a Coast as you can get in the US. :up:

Padi here. I haven't gone diving for about 15 years though. It's a younger man's game. :D
