Ok so the idea is that with this quiz I will say only how many
someone has right and wrong, but I wont say which is right
or wrong. first one to get all six is the winner.
Subsimmers master mind 001.
1. What submarine shot down an airship ?
[edit] there are apparently two correct answers
to this question I will accept either.
2. what do the RN Aircraft carrier
Ark Royal and the IJN light cruiser
Yubari have in common?
3. What unusual tactic killed
U-40,U-23 and C-33 ?
4. What submarine fired the first ever torpedo in anger?
[edit succesfully]
5. What happened to submarines worldwide on May 17 1943?
6. What is the record for surviving on a raft after torpedoing by
a submarine?

1. U-134 v. K-74
2. Sunk by Submarines
3. That was the merchant towing a hidden submarine right?
4. The Hunley used her spar torpedo to destroy USS Housatonic, but that doesn't count, right? (Or maybe the Turtle but that's not even a torpedo...)
I'm probably wrong, but is it U-15 in the early days of the First Battle of the Atlantic?
5. The MI6 and the Office of Strategic Services agree to share cipher intelligence?
6. Poon Lim, 133 days

Also, How could it possibly be UB-1 when it was commissioned in 1915?

a hint to all.............
bear in mind this researching Q's and A's thing is still new for me
mostly so a little leeway is asked for.
what I will say in the open is
I still dont have what I want for ark royal and yubari
but realize that they of course have three main
commonalities.
unlike question 1 however in this case I am still holding out
for what they have in common with each other that they
do not have in common with many other ships.

Both were sunk with minimal casualties (1 for Ark Royal, 19 for Yubari)?
Both were knocked dead in the water by a single Torpedo hit?

The L 7 was destroyed by H.M.S. E31 May 4th, 1916.
But credit for bringing Her down is listed as the H.M.S. Phaeton and Galatea.
