Exercise Arctic reach involved 32 units from both the northern and baltic fleets eight of the units were submarines including one of the massive Oscar II SSGN's.
Some of the most noted cambatants that were in this exercise was the carrier Kuznetsov the cruiser Peter the great and the Ivan rogov a landing platform ship.

The exercise offically began on the 7th of july and ended on the 13th of july leu days inbetween gave time to get to the exercise area.
the Mission was simple ASUW and ASW warfare two groups the first led by the kuznetsov herself and the second led by the ASW destroyer Tributs.

The kuznetsov group was simulating defencive action against a small but potent force that included several submarines including the illusive Diesel boats.
I was assigned to be a stand alone rouge submarine tasked with taking out two important units the first the cruiser peter the great and second the Kuznetsov herself.

It wouldnt be easy to get to either of them both were hard targets to get at my role was to get close enough (within torpedo range) and if i could take a picture the unit was ruled dead.

Again this wasnt to easy a take the kuznetsov was protected by four smaller groups and a ring of steel mainly ASW and ASUW vessels i would have to sneak in undetected somehow and strike right at the heart at close range then barrel away very fast.

I managed to sink the cruiser with little or no problem using one of its escorts as cover to escape the carrier however did prove a challenge i predicted her course and laid in wait on the sea bed low and behold she went over the top of me so i was able to just come up and shoot.

The shallow waters of the norwiegen sea did not help my escape i instead of running hid under one of the auxilaries masking my sound and making the enamy unable to fire i spent the rest of that day under the ship before sneaking out.

The B-546 an old tango class submarine was tasked to sink the Ivan rogov however she was detected and it gave me some cover to slip away as i ceased to be the hunted.

I returned to port with all my mission goals completed.

So heres the pictures.
