I using these mods :

Lifeboat&Debris_v3B
Visible U-Marker
BB Warspite
GWX-captain America's Officer Icons
Elite U-boat Uniform-Dirty Brown

I would disable "AOTD-AA-Ship-Schleuse-Bugfix" - this mod caused trouble as soon as i used it.

Just for info purposes, the GWX 2.1.Minor fix's 26th April is contained in the AOTD-AA-Ship-Schleuse-Bugfix.

There is a SH3 bug that causes the game to CTD from a reloaded save game that could be your problem. I have saved a game when I was back in port and then when I reloaded it I would CTD immediately or sometimes only after I had put to sea. I have also had the problem when I save a game at sea, even if I saved the game on the surface and with no ships or aircraft withing 20 km of me.

One thing I have done here is that I have a full virgin copy of the game in my Ubisoft folder. It's the original install, upgraded to 1.4b, with the folder renamed to 'Backup Copy of SilentHunterIII'. Then I copied that folder over to a new folder that is named correctly for the game. If I even think that a Mod has blown away my game, I can then recopy *everything* from the virgin folder. Then I only have to delete the existing 'JSGME.ini' from the Mods folder and I can start reloading the known-good mods again.
