Just raided New York

Boy, were they not expecting me! The only defence I saw were some shore guns and one torpedo boat.

New York harbour sure is pretty, I assume it's the largest port in GWX?
It's like every ship moored off there is above 10k tons! That made the torpedoes worth their while, I even got a few shots off with my deckgun, hehe.

When I snuck in, I was overtaken by a large troopship (14k tons) which almost overran me! Menaged to take it down half an hour later.

After some carnage, I made a dash underneath the bridges and hightailed out of there :D

How tight are the defenses? I'd expect serious air coverage if nothing else.

About 20 kilometers out I went to silent running and only popped the scope up to take a peek a few times. I went in at night, so aircraft were not a problem. Funny thing, the only opposition I got was a brave little tug boat that saw my scope and stayed about 100 meters off my stern the entire time.

Do you mean there was nothing else in the harbor, or you just evaded them?

NY is the biggest harbor I've found in the game.

I'd like to see other big harbors and more defence's.

Net's that open for ships so I can sneak in with them.

And more patrol boats looking for my periscope to call in a destroyer or two.

I'm sure we have a GWX modder who could look some of this over and see if it's at all possible.
