I never have liked The Aerodrome community much, but if you sift through this thread, you'll find several images on the in-game progress that's been made. I hope KoTS will be on store shelves before mid-2009.

However, I would not rule out OFF. Phase III should turn out extremely polished, while Kots is just vaporware at the moment, and will come with it's share of new problems.

We must prepare for the release. I hope you can customize your aeroplane's color scheme... Yellow wings and a red fuselage with a black rudder and elevator area... mmm.

Might just paint my whole plane yellow with a red tail and elevator area, though.

Last great one that ever came out was Full Canvas Jacket, which is better than OFF in my opinion. OFF was quite unstable, ran off a buggy game to begin with, and the mod team was extremely arrogant (and they still are). Poor FCJ. It is long forgotten now.

The game requirements are not crazy. I wonder if his is minimum requirements or not?

I'm guessing they haven't fully tested it out yet on different platforms.

In short, the requirements are probably just what his PC has, and he's able to run the game. If not... then I'm not buying. I've got all he minimum requirements, but damn is that going to suck up a lot of PC power.

The Fokker's crash sequence in the first video is amazing, if they have put the same attention to detail in every aspects of the game it's gonna be a real killer.

One thing though, I've read somewhere (can't remember where) that there will be only 2 flyables, the Spad 13 and Fokker D VII seen in the videos. It said they plan to release other planes later but they will be payware :damn: If it turns to be true there's just no way I'd buy the game.
edit : in the screenshot sections there's only Spad 13's and D.VII's, no other plane to see ...

Maybe because the other planes aren't finished?

Anyway, if that's the case I'm sticking to my RB3D and 100+ flyables
