Ever changed a convoy into a taskforce?

I just did this for the first time!! Small convoy of 8 ships with 3 escorts. Over a period of two nights I sank all the ships in the convoy leaving only the escorts. So it was changed from a convoy into a taskforce, do you think I could legally say that?

Nope, It switched from a convoy into a bunch of scattered remains, a Task Force is supposed to be something organized...
