Hi!
After starting a new career (6th of Dec. 1941) tried to leave Manila and per operation order go through San Bernardino Strait to the east coast of Luzon. However, just few hours after leaving the base, got CTD while in the Verde Island passage. Tried again few times with no luck. CTD every time, almost to the minute and every time in the same area. Not a big deal, usually I have found the game being very stable. Just thinking, what's the matter now. The boat is Porpoise and I'm using TM 1.4 with proper RSRD and patches + Captain Midnight radio mod.
I suppose I have to start a new career again, as there seems to be something "corrupted". That's a shame, have to do all these "new career releated things" again.

I think its a problem with the radio mod, sometime in the past someone had a similar problem with the game crashing always on the same date and time while running a radio mod. Try uninstaling the mod, and see what happens.

Thanks, ekempey!
I was thinking that myself also, even if I can't figure it out, what in the radio mod could cause that. Have to try uninstalling it, then we'll know.

It might be a conflict with TM, because ducimus has some of his own radio files, or it might not, you might want to contact the author of the radio mod, as 1.4 is not as supported as it once used to be. Make sure that you installation order always has TM first, then RSRDC, then the radio mod.

Thanks again, E!
I have tried to be careful when installing mods, so the order should be just fine. I took off the radio mod now, so let's see what happens.

Radio mods won't conflict with TM. Radio mods can, however, have events.ini entries that point to media (sound) files that don't exist (or are misnamed). The CTD can happen whether you are listening to the station that has the error or even if you are not listening to the radio at all.
The indicator that it is a radio problem is that the CTD will happen at EXACTLY the same date and time EVERY time no matter where you are or what you are doing.
The simplest solution (other than removing the radio mod) is to download the Radio Station Manager (see the link in my signature), install it and perform the steps necessary to prepare for a mid patrol saved game load. This will go through each and every station you have set up and check for errors in the events that can cause CTDs. The program also handles the "repeat events" syndrome caused by the in game date and time not being reflected correctly with respect to the radio. This causes the same events to be played from the time you leave port until the date and time that you are in game when you saved. It will also make adding radio stations easier (no manual file editing).
